Nonda Showcases Herbal Spiced Coffee Flavours at Science Week

The ongoing National Science Exhibition week has attracted innovators, investors, learners and consumers from all corners of the country.

One of the places having a beehive of activities is the Nonda Coffee stall, thanks to its Coffee varieties specially brewed for the local and global markets.

Among Nonda Coffee's key innovations is the signature Nonda Coffee Special spiced with local herbs such as Cinnamon and Moringa.

"We have developed a well elaborate signature Nonda Coffe Special with a pinch of local herbs that has made our customers come for more and look out for more health benefits from Coffee," Sandra Luwedde, the Nonda Coffee Hospitality Manager said.

She noted that Nonda Coffee is collected from Uganda Farmers in areas such as Mbale, Bukedi, Kigezi, Mbarara and Masaka and taken through a qualitative value addition system that makes it ready for consumption both locally and globally.

" In line with President Museveni's value addition and last mile participation vision, we are creating a global franchise of specially crafted coffees from Uganda to the world. We are doing this with the support from the government of Uganda through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Coffee isn't just a bean but a science that catapult the entire economy in many ways."
