First Insurance Company Limited (FICO) has rebranded to  Mirai General Insurance.

First Insurance Company Limited (FICO) has rebranded to  Mirai General Insurance.

This was during an event  held at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, FICO’s acquisition by Pride Global, a dynamic Singapore-based multinational insurance and financial services group.

Speaking during the launch, Joseph Nsubuga, CEO of Mirai General Insurance, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence and progress:

“This transformation is more than a name change; it represents a thrilling shift in mindset from a local to a global perspective, delivering insurance services that meet international standards. Mirai symbolizes our ambition to offer world-class service while maintaining the trust and personalized attention that FICO was known for. With the support of Pride Global, we now have a broader platform to innovate, grow, and provide superior insurance solutions tailored to today’s evolving risks. The transition to Mirai General Insurance will positively impact existing customers and their policies.

FICO, now Mirai General Insurance has been in existence for over 30 years.
