State Minister in charge of the Office of the Vice President, Diana Mutasingwa, has commissioned newly refurbished health facilities at Nkokonjeru and Ngogwe Health Centres in Buikwe District.
The upgrade was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Health and the Buikwe District Local Government.
"We have successfully upgraded Ngogwe Health Centre III to Level IV and Nkokonjeru Health Centre to Level III," Mutasingwa announced during the commissioning ceremony. "These improvements will bring quality healthcare closer to our people, making it easier for families to access the services they need."
Mutasingwa emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that every person in Buikwe has access to improved medical services.
"We remain committed to ensuring that every person in Buikwe has access to improved medical services through better infrastructure, consistent availability of medicine, and enhanced healthcare delivery," she stated.
The Minister extended her gratitude to the Ministry of Health and the Buikwe District Local Government for their support in making the project a success.
"I thank the Ministry of Health and Buikwe District Local Government for ensuring the success of these projects!" she exclaimed.
As the first female minister from Buikwe District, Diana Mutasingwa has been instrumental in driving development initiatives in the region.
The residents says the ministers' efforts to improve healthcare services in Buikwe District are a testament to her dedication to the well-being of her constituents.
