Minister Amongi Launches Countrywide Tour to Monitor GROW Project Beneficiaries

The Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi, has embarked on a nationwide tour to assess and verify the businesses that benefited from the GROW (Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises) Project.

The project, spearheaded by the Ministry of Gender, aims to empower women entrepreneurs by supporting existing businesses and promoting agricultural ventures among women.

"As you're aware, the Ministry of Gender is implementing the GROW Project. One of its core components is to support existing women-owned businesses and promote agriculture," Minister Amongi stated.

She emphasized that the purpose of her tour is to confirm the actual existence and capacity of the enterprises that received funding. "I am assessing and confirming the businesses that were given money in the form of grants," she says
