Confidence is Key for Women Entrepreneurs, Says Minister Anite
At the 2024 Uganda Development Bank's Women Entrepreneurs Conference, State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatisation Evelyn Anite emphasized the importance of confidence and determination for women in business.
Minister Anite highlighted three key ingredients for success: confidence, proper bookkeeping, and effective product marketing. These factors, she believes, are crucial for driving women's business growth and achieving gender inclusion in the Ugandan economy.
Drawing inspiration from her childhood, Anite shared the story of her mother, a fishmonger who defied limitations despite lacking formal education. Her mother's unwavering confidence, Anite stressed, is a powerful example for aspiring female entrepreneurs.
