Next Radio celebrates Stanbic Black Pirates' success and compassion

In a heartfelt endeavor to make a meaningful impact on the less privileged mothers in the Bweyogerere area, Stanbic Bank, a proud sponsor of the Stanbic Black Pirates Rugby team, initiated a noble campaign.

This outreach aimed to provide support to expectant mothers in the community surrounding the Pirates' home grounds.

The bank contributed 100 much-needed mama kits and a crucial maternity bed to Bweyogerere Health Center III.

Next Radio, a Black Pirates sponsor, stood alongside Stanbic Bank and the Stanbic Black Pirates in this noble cause.

Representing Next Radio was Victoria Sibiya, the Morning Switch host, who shared the spirit of giving and compassion that defined this outreach. Together with Stanbic Bank and the Stanbic Black Pirates, Next Radio was crucial in bringing hope and assistance to needy mothers.

In a separate event earlier in the week, the Stanbic Black Pirates Rugby team visited Next Media Park to share their recent achievements. The team presented their trophy, celebrating their victory in the Nile Special National 7s Series, where they emerged triumphant in three out of seven circuits. This win added to their impressive collection, including the National 15s and 7s trophies.

Timothy Bhatia, the Brand Manager, acknowledged their partnership with the Stanbic Black Pirates. Bhatia commended the team for their remarkable back-to-back victories and dedication throughout the season.

"We are confident in the Pirate Ship, seeing as more young players keep growing in the team, and we shall endeavor to highlight the journey with the team and give them the media platform to establish themselves on a local & international stage with the National team."

This collaboration between Stanbic, Next Radio, and the Stanbic Black Pirates exemplifies the power of partnerships in supporting maternal health and promoting sports excellence.
