The President described the day as “lovely,” expressing gratitude for the time shared with family away from his busy schedule.

“Despite the challenges, Uganda remains largely peaceful, and we are grateful,” the President, remarked, urging citizens to embrace reflection during this festive period.

President Museveni noted the blessings of the ongoing wet season, advising against wasteful living.

“Many waste their resources through reckless living,” he cautioned, urging farmers and citizens to make the most of the opportunities provided by nature.

On the morning of December 26th, the President visited his cows (enkoroogyi) in Rwakitura, using the moment to reiterate his call for improved farming practices.

He encouraged farmers to paddock their farms and grow nutritious grass such as orunyankokoore (Chloris Diana) to ensure better health and productivity for their livestock.
