The Kitende based club also announced they have started a process for the recruitment of a new coach and technical staff.

Seven months ago, Vipers appointed Kenyan tactician Michael Ouma as their interim coach after sacking their Mexican coach Javier Matinez Espinoza who had been in charge for only four months.

The Mexican coach’s woes stemmed from the club’s exit from the Caf Champions League and a series of dismal performances.

They also appointed a five-man interim technical team to take charge of the club until the end of the season.

The club in January 2019 announced the return of Edward Golola as one of the interim coaches.

However, the latest development indicates that all these have been shown the exit from Kitende.

This is the third time Golola is being shown the exit at Kitende despite having been influential in all the three league titles that Vipers SC has, with two coming when he was the head coach (2009/10 and 2014/15) and the other as an assistant to Miguel Da Costa in 2017.
