In a community-driven initiative, the Kigo 7 Lakes Golf Rotary Club, in collaboration with other hospitals and Next Media Services, provided free medical services to over 200 locals from Kajjansi Muline in Wakiso district.
The event addressed pressing health concerns and environmental issues, offering essential services to residents.
The medical camp offered vital health services, including sickle cell screening, Hepatitis B vaccination, and HIV testing, among others.
Remmie Kisakye, a member of the Kigo 7 Lakes Golf Rotary Club, emphasized the importance of community-driven initiatives.
"Our mission is to create lasting, positive change by focusing on healthcare access and community wellness," Kisakye said.

She added , “we are following up since three months back when we were here also proving the same services. Therefore, some are here to receive their second doses and others are still in need of medical attention”
Two beneficiaries, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed their gratitude for the free medical services.
"I was able to receive treatment for my sickle cell condition, which I couldn't afford otherwise," said one beneficiary.
Another added, "The medical camp provided me with essential health services, including HIV testing and counseling."
In addition to the medical services, a clean-up drive was organized to tackle environmental concerns in the area.
The initiative aims to inspire residents to take greater responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and fostering a shared commitment to public health and sanitation.
The Kigo 7 Lakes Golf Rotary Club plans to conduct this initiative every three months to address the urgent need for health attention in the community.
