The Leader of Opposition (LOP), Joel Ssenyonyi, has visited the African Coffee Park in Ntungamo as part of his oversight duties.
The park, home to the Inspire Africa Coffee Value Addition Plant, serves as a key center for enhancing coffee production and value addition in the region.
The visit highlights efforts to position coffee value addition as a significant driver of economic growth and increased export revenue in Uganda.
Ssenyonyi’s tour aimed to evaluate the progress and impact of the project on local farmers and the coffee sector at large.
This visit follows an earlier oversight engagement at the Inspire Africa facility in Rwashamire, Ntungamo District, underscoring the opposition’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in projects designed to transform Uganda’s agricultural sector.
