But not just any coffee—Ugandan coffee, a hidden gem that is winning hearts and palates across the globe. the sights, aroma, and taste of Uganda, all captured in a single cup. Efforts to push Uganda’s Coffee onto the Global stage remain evident with Inspire Africa Group leading the charge.
At one of the biggest tourism exhibitions worldwide, the 28th East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition which attracts thousands of industry professionals and tourists looking for new and exciting travel opportunities from destinations and travel service companies from across the globe, Uganda under the Embassy’s leadership was able to shine and showcase the marvel of the country and the hidden Gem(Coffee) stole hearts of communities.
Great progress was witnessed as Inspire Africa Group and the Time Food Group created a strategic partnership aimed at expanding market access and promoting Uganda’s coffee. The MoU signals a strategic expansion for both parties as they unite to enhance cultural exchange and coffee appreciation. With Time Food Group’s extensive network of coffee shops across Türkiye, Ugandan coffee is set to become a celebrated addition to the country’s dynamic café culture, inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the distinctive flavors and traditions of Uganda. Nelson Tugume, CEO of Inspire Africa Group, expressed optimism saying The partnership is an opportunity to share the unique taste of Ugandan coffee and cultural heritage with a new audience.
With a deliberate effort to mobilize the Turkish market, Mr Tugume’s partnerships are geared towards building anticipation for the upcoming coffee marathon in May and the coffee festival scheduled for later this year at the Africa Coffee Park in Ntungamo
