The Ugandan Hip Hop Awards winners for the year 2024 have been unveiled.
The annual award ceremony that celebrates achievements within Hip-Hop Culture happened on Friday at Somewhere Else bar and restaurant, former Panamera where some of the biggest names walked away with accolades in different categories.
At total of 21 people walked away with accolades in different categories and the biggest winners during the night were The Mith who took two accolades in Lyricist of the year with his Conversations and Mixtape of the year with his Systeemu.
Parte Yani, a song that topped charts last year featuring Ruyonga, Zex Bilangilangi and Wonder JR took two accolades in Song of the year and Rap Fusion of the Year.
The album of the year award went to Rickman Manrick with his Ndi Muto, Deejay of the Year went to DJ Jefas while Inspirational song of the year went to Isabirye Mitch’s Mboniire ft. Kabera Angel, KekoTown & Joses Arins Emanzi.
Wacha Maneno by Lagum the rapper featuring Denesi was voted video of the year, Trappex Booming won Producer of the Year while Navio took Rapper of the Year.
