Hellovet, a cutting-edge mobile application aimed at revolutionizing access to professional veterinary services, has officially launched in Uganda.

The innovative platform provides users with convenient access to veterinary doctors, consultancy services for pets and livestock, veterinary medicines, pet and livestock products, pet accessories, and more, all from the comfort of their smartphones.

Hellovet aims to address the challenges faced by pet and livestock owners in accessing timely and reliable veterinary services.

Officials said with the launch of the mobile application, users can now easily connect with qualified veterinary professionals, consult on health concerns, and access essential products for their animals with just a few taps on their mobile devices.

"Hellovet is excited to announce our official launch in Uganda, bringing unparalleled convenience and accessibility to professional veterinary services," said Shamim Birungi, the Head Of Communications at Hellovet.

"Our platform is designed to bridge the gap between pet and livestock owners and qualified veterinary professionals, making it easier for everyone to access the care and products they need for their animals."

She explained that the mobile application has features which give the public access to professional veterinary doctors whereas users can connect with qualified veterinary professionals for expert advice and consultation on pet and livestock health issues.

"The mobile application offers doorstep delivery of veterinary medicines, pet and livestock products, and accessories, eliminating the need for users to visit physical stores but also affordable and reliable veterinary services, ensuring that every pet and livestock owner can access the care they need without breaking the bank," Birungi said.

In a bid to avoid quack services, she said Hellovet ensures that  all veterinary professionals on the platform are certified and regulated, giving users peace of mind knowing they are receiving services from qualified professionals.

"We believe that Hellovet will not only make veterinary services more accessible but also provide a platform for veterinary doctors to earn a living while serving the community," added Birungi.
