Police in Wakiso district is investigating circumstances under which a 16 year old girl only identified as Kemigisha Nuwagaba committed suicide hours after she was released on bond from Nsangi Police post.
The Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire reveals that on Tuesday, a one Kiraka Mugisha, a local business man in Kasenge town, Kyengera town council in Wakiso district found his 16 year daughter Kemigisha having sex with her boyfriend Kelvin Kaddu (18), in his bedroom before arresting the two and handing them to Nsangi Police.
"Kaddu was detained on charges of defilement and Kemigisha was released" Owoyesigyire told this news portal, the Nile Post.
Owoyesigyire added that the angry father did not return home for a day only to receive the sad news on Wednesday morning that his daughter's lifeless body had been found hanging.
"The body was take to Mulago hospital for postmotem and police has started investigations into this matter." Owoyesigyire confirmed.
