The National Drug Authority (NDA) has reassured Ugandans of the safety and integrity of the country’s regulated pharmaceutical and medical supplies market, emphasising its commitment to protecting citizens from counterfeit and substandard products.

This statement follows a public warning issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya regarding a failed batch of Sure Lubricated Dotted Condoms (Batch No. 2405055), which were exclusively manufactured for the Kenyan government. NDA clarified that these condoms are clearly labeled for the “Government of Kenya” and are not available in Uganda’s regulated market.
