Sheikh Kasujja, a director at Emirates College School Nkoowe and respected Islamic scholar, stressed the importance of Waqif, or assets dedicated to the development of Islam. These assets, which can include buildings, land, and vehicles, generate income to support Islamic activities and provide a stable financial foundation for Muslim communities.

According to Sheikh Kasujja, Waqif enables Muslim leaders, such as Imams, to focus on spreading Islamic teachings without financial burdens. Additionally, Waqif allows followers to concentrate on their prayers and spiritual growth, free from concerns about financial support.
