Yes, I've a child with Nyamutoro - Eddy Kenzo

'I just want to let you know that Honourable Phiona Nyamutoro is my personal person and we have a kid (child) together'

SOCIETY | Singer Edirisa Musuuza, alias Eddy Kenzo, has confirmed his relationship with the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development, Phiona Nyamutoro, and says they have a child together.

Kenzo made the revelation on Wednesday while performing at one of his Eid shows at Comedy Store.

For weeks now, Kenzo and Nyamutoro have dominated headlines after rumours of the pair dating started making rounds on social media.

The speculations gained more traction after it was reported that beyond the pair dating, they had a child together, something the two remained tight-lipped about.

However, in the middle of his Eid performance, the Semyekozo singer surprised his fans when he interacted with them and opened up about his relationship with the youthful minister.

“I just want to let you know that Honourable Phiona Nyamutoro is my personal person and we have a kid (child) together,” Kenzo said, drawing wild cheers from the crowd.

This comes days after Kenzo, said in a TV interview that he had other children besides his two known daughters Maya and Aamal.

At the time, there had been word on the street that he had fathered a child (boy) with Nyamutoro although the two tried to keep the rumours under wraps.

It increasingly became evident that indeed, there had been something special between the two after they were spotted attending a school VD together last month.

Since then, the two have appeared inseparable and have been seen together on different occasions walking hand-in-hand.

Just days ago, Kenzo escorted Nyamutoro at State House as President Museveni was swearing in the newly-appointed ministers.
