One of the key initiatives under this partnership is the provision of sanitary pads to vulnerable girls, ensuring they do not miss school due to lack of basic hygiene products.
Grace Bonny Muliisa, Managing Director of Eco Bank Uganda, emphasized the impact of this initiative, noting, "Through this partnership, we aim to support over 50,000 girls annually, ensuring they can stay in school and focus on their education."
The partnership, which began in 2019, has already benefited nearly 10,000 girls. The new agreement includes the establishment of a humanitarian fund dedicated to supporting various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable populations in Uganda.
This renewed collaboration underscores the importance of community involvement and collective action in driving meaningful change. Both organizations are committed to working together to ensure every girl in Uganda has the opportunity to attend school with dignity and confidence.
