The significant representation in science fields highlights KIU’s emphasis on promoting science education and innovation.
Dr. Baryomunsi also acknowledged the challenges of unemployment but reassured graduates of the government’s efforts to create opportunities for young professionals.
“The government is working tirelessly to open pathways for young talent, both locally and internationally. Your skills are the key to unlocking these opportunities,” he said.
KIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Ngoma reiterated the university's dedication to equipping students with industry-relevant skills.
He emphasized that KIU’s focus on science and technology ensures graduates are well prepared for the demands of the digital age.
“At KIU, we prioritize empowering our students with the knowledge and skills to excel in a technology-driven world,” Prof. Ngoma stated.
