Uganda’s business community to reap benefit as BNI Expo opens

Uganda’s business community is set to reap benefits from the just opened BNI Expo at UMA showgrounds in Lugogo.

The two day expo opened on Friday in a bid to ensure Ugandan businesses strengthen connections and seize new opportunities .

This two-day event is a dynamic platform for business growth and networking, featuring a comprehensive program designed to foster learning, collaboration and innovation.

Organized by Business Network International (BNI) Uganda, the BNI Expo brings together a diverse group of participants from over 10 countries, including business enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.

It is open to the general public and aims to provide valuable insights and opportunities for all attendees.

"The BNI Expo is a testament to our commitment to fostering a robust business environment in Uganda. By bringing together key stakeholders, we aim to create a platform where ideas can be exchanged, partnerships can be formed, and businesses can thrive," said Diana Ninsiima, the national director of BNI Uganda.

"Participants are encouraged to take full advantage of the resources and opportunities available at the Expo. Whether you are looking to expand your business, seek investment, or simply network with like-minded professionals, the BNI Expo is the place to be."

The event is featuring presentations from key business partners and government agencies such as the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), and Uganda Export Promotion Board.

These presentations will offer critical information on business registration, investment opportunities, and export promotion, providing attendees with the knowledge needed to navigate and thrive in the business landscape.

In addition to these presentations, the expo will host business clinics offering one-on-one sessions with experts who will provide personalized advice and solutions on various business challenges.

Topics covered in these clinics include business strategy, financial planning, marketing, and legal compliance.

Networking opportunities are a cornerstone of the BNI Expo, with multiple sessions designed to facilitate meaningful connections among participants.

Attendees will have the chance to engage with potential partners, investors, and clients from different sectors and regions.

Panel discussions will feature industry experts and thought leaders discussing a range of topics, including innovation in business, sustainable growth strategies, and the future of entrepreneurship in Africa.

These interactive sessions aim to provide attendees with diverse perspectives and actionable insights.
