In a statement, the commission urged interested candidates to submit their handwritten or typed applications no later than November 4th.
Applicants are advised to clearly indicate the position they are applying for and specify the area of jurisdiction they wish to serve in.
"All applications must be addressed to the election administrator in the applicant’s respective district," the commission noted.
A valid National Identity Card (NIN) is mandatory for eligibility. The commission highlighted the importance of this recruitment process in ensuring smooth and transparent electoral operations at the grassroots level for the upcoming general elections.
This recruitment drive is seen as a critical step in ensuring Uganda is well-prepared for the 2026 elections, with competent and qualified personnel in place to oversee the electoral process across the country.
