The video, which has gone viral on all social media platforms, prompted several members of the public condemn the act by the group of brutalising their colleague.
“I watched a video clip of a young girl being beaten &humiliated by a clique of women. Whatever the reason,no one has a right to physically harm anyone. We need to stop such acts of cruelty. Save lives by stopping such fights instead of cheering the fighters.Where has humanity gone?” Mercy Kainobwisho, the URSB Registrar General commented .
Kampala deputy Lord Mayor, Doreen Nyanjura said; “Why didn’t these stupid women beat the man that vibed the gal? No one deserves violence b’se of a man/woman. You made fun of the guy that knelt, now here we are. Anyone who knows how I can find the victim of this violence, please reach out to me. This barbarism must be stopped!”
One Victor Arinaitwe urged police to investigate the matter to its conclusion so that suspects face the long arm of the law.
“I really hope this becomes a lesson to these ill-mannered, uncultured and ruthless girls. The punishment should be loud and clear for everyone to learn.”
