Museveni, wife Janet rekindle love in birthday celebration
President Yoweri Museveni and wife Janet Kataha Museveni have showered each with love as the former celebrated his 77th birthday on Wednesday.
According to records, Museveni was born 77 years ago on September, 15, 1944 in current day Nutngamo district.

On Wednesday, social media was awash with messages wishing him a happy birthday and wife, Janet too was not left out in congratulating and wishing her loved the best.
“Dear Kaguta Museveni, we are continually thankful for your life, health, strength and for every kindness of God towards you. May the blessings of the Lord always surround and pursue you as you lead our family and lead the country. Have a wonderful birthday and a blessed year,” the message from Janet and posted on her social media platforms read.
In a reply full of love, Museveni described his wife, Janet as his cornerstone, and best friend.
He said he wants the two to spend their lives together until they make a century.
“Thank you so much Maama! Even on this day, I continue to praise God for giving me the precious gift that you are. You are my cornerstone, my best friend, my lifelong companion! I look forward to reaching 100 together,” Museveni said.
Museveni and the wife, Janet are four years apart.
Earlier this year, President Yoweri Museveni celebrated his wife, Janet Kataaha Museveni’s birthday with the promise of celebrating 100 years in marriage together.
“Praise the Lord God for the life of Maama Janet and for the many blessings from God in her life. We wish her many more years of health, happiness and service. I am looking forward to reaching 100 together,” Museveni said during Janet's 73rd birthday on June, 24, 2021.
