OMO launches festive season campaign dubbed: "Show love and care"

OMO yesterday launched a festive campaign dubbed ‘show love and care’.

During the campaign, the general public is urged to "show love and care" by donating clothes to the less privileged communities.

"Christmas is all celebrating, spending time together as families, exchanging gifts as we show love and care to those close to us. But while we celebrate, there are communities that miss out on this and it’s for this reason that we want to also show love and care to them as we donate clothes to them. We shall be collecting clothes at different supermarkets and partner stations where we call upon every one to bring clothes so that we put on a smile on faces of our sisters, brothers and children," read a statement from the company.

OMO said the clothes that will be collected will be given to NGOs and communities in need of them.

Some of the NGOs that will benefit from this campaign are: Wells of Hope an NGO which reaches out to children of prisoners with parents on death-row, those with a parent living with HIV/AIDS and/or parents serving long term sentences.

"We therefore call upon the general public to join us as we show love and care this festive season as we donate clothes," the statement concluded.
