NRM will not survive after Museveni, says Nandala Mafabi
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) secretary general, Nandala Mafabi, has said that the ruling party, National Resistance Movement (NRM) will not survive long after their chairman and incumbent President Museveni leaves power.
Mafabi argued that FDC is the only party in Uganda that is currently building and putting in place structures while in other parties, including NRM, things rotate around one person.

Mafabi made this remarks while appearing on NBS Television's Morning Breeze, Thursday morning.
"NRM structures only appear on paper. The party rotates on the fingertips of only one individual, President Museveni. They will not survive after him (Museveni) because he has not let anyone exercise their potential," Mafabi said.
Mafabi said that their efforts as FDC are being crippled by the state which breaks down their rallies.
Yesterday, FDC assumed leadership of the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) from the Democratic Party (DP).
Mafabi called for unity of all political parties if the IPOD is make any substantial impact.
He called upon the NRM and all registered political parties to come together and work together as IPOD because if one party is not on board, no decision will be taken
