Musician Edirisa Musuuza commonly known as Eddy Kenzo has said he wants to meet Dr Hamza Sebunya, the man who won the heart of his longtime girlfriend and mother of his daughter Rema Namakula.

The musician has also spoken out for the first time about his recent meeting with Present Yoweri Museveni upon his return from Colombia and the United States.

In September this year, social media was awash with photos of Namakula and her new partner, Dr. Hamza Sebunya who is a medical doctor at Mulago Hospital. The couple went ahead to officially visit at Namakula's parents home, prompting Kenzo to make a Facebook LIVE video where he cried in front the camera and thousands of viewers who were following.

In his latest media appearance, the "System Volongooto" singer was hosted on NBS Television's 'Akatebe' that runs every Monday during the 7pm Luganda news bulletin.

Kenzo, told NBS Television that he hasn't met with Sebunya but asserted that he would like to meet him to officially handover all the responsibilities of both, now his former girlfriend Namakula and their daughter Amaal Musuuza.

"Yes, I want to Sebunya. I would like to shake his hand and officially hand over the responsibilities. It's not about Rema, but it also involves my blood now. I want to officially handover my child and ask him to take care of both of them," Kenzo said.

Kenzo added that they agreed with Rema after a serious misunderstanding, to give each other space and her dumping him for Sebunya didn't come as a surprise.

On Meeting President Museveni

Eddy Kenzo also responded to the claims that he got huge sums of cash from President Museveni saying that he was only promised support but never got any money from state house.

Kenzo also said that those who accuse him of having accepted to be compromised do that wrongly because he is still a strong supporter and believer in the 'People Power' movement led by Kyadondo East Legislator Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
