The Mukono based side took the lead only 10 minutes into the game , thanks to Ezra Kizito Kaye as they held onto the lead until the final whistle of the first stanza.
In the second stanza, Kaye was at it again with a second goal for UCU as they took the lead beyond reach.
The Lubaga based team however put up a good performance that later paid off with a Missi Ssemugera consolation but it was not enough to change much as UCU went on to win the game 2-1.
Uganda Christian University were later crowned champions of the 2019 University Football League and became the 8th winners of the title since its inception in 2012.
