Uganda Martyrs start season against Buikwe in the Buganda Region League

Uganda Martyrs Bugerere Football Club will be in action against the Buikwe Red Stars as the Buganda Region League continues today with a number of games in the two groups.

Uganda Martyrs Bugerere FC will start their quest for promotion away to Buikwe where they will play their first game of the season in the Ssezibwa Group.

The league kicked off yesterday with one game that had Lugazi Municipal FC thump Butema Soccer Masters 6-0 at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.

The Hamid kibirango coaches side will  be hoping to get three points to kick-start their promotion campaign on a positive.

Speaking to the team's head coach, Kibirango is positive they are well prepared for their first game of the season.

We have been training very well and we are lucky we have no big injuries to worry about. It's a tough test that we shall be starting our campaign away from home but am sure we can pick three points from Buikwe"

Said kibirango.

Uganda Martyrs Bugerere FC will be hosting their home games at the Bishop Brown playground in Kayunga Town.
