Rajiv wins CRC championship crown at Kabalega Hoima rally

Rajiv Ruparelia won the Clubman Rally Championship (CRC) category  championship at the Total Kabalega rally in Hoima, a morale boosting win for someone who just joined rallying in June.

Rajiv finished the event in a time 01:09:37 and making a big statement that he is there to stay.

The clubman rally championship category serves as the springboard for the main event.

In the main rally, Arthur Blick Jr yesterday emerged winner of the Total Kabalega Rally, during a rain drenched race that had its fair share of thrills and fun.

Blick Jr us now 30 points behind Yasin Nasser, the leader and the two will now have to tussle it out at the Mosac Rally next month to find the winner.

Rajiv had won the the third stage of Total Kabalega Hoima rally 2019 beating 39 competitors who took part in the race.

With his co-driver Enock Olinga, Rajiv driving his usual machine UBF 801H Golf VW proto, posted 23:52.

Manvir Baryan won stage one after posting 3:17, Hassan Alwi 3:22, Ronald Sebuguzi 3:28, Christakis Fitidis 3:32, Kepher Walube 3:40, Ponsiano Lwakataka 3:46

In the stage two Raul emerged the winner 17:26, Alwi 17:27, Duncan 17:31, Seb 17:41, Yassin 17:41, Arthur 17:42, Omar 18:19, Rajiv 23:53 .
