Lokodo to summon Muzaata over ‘bad leadership; Muzaata advises him to ‘focus’ (Video)

The Ethics and Integrity Minister Rev Fr Simon Lokodo has said he will summon Kibuli Mosque Public Relations Officer Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata over what he terms as bad leadership manifestations.

Lokodo said that as the person in charge of moral standards in the country, he wants him to withdraw negative comments he made towards ‘his son” Kenzo.

Sheikh Muzaata maintains that he has not been summoned yet, however, he said he would be willing to meet the minister, not because he has an offence, but because he wants to tell the minister to concentrate on more important issues in his docket.

“If you are the minister of the integrity of this country which is full of immorality and other things that can be worked on, but you feel that Muzaata is the one you should concentrate on, that is strange, I am waiting to meet him,” Muzaata said.

The Sheikh also hinted that certain people are threatening his life in the aftermath of his comments towards singer Eddy Kenzo, but that does not worry him.

He says that certain people stormed his house in Kawempe and dumped rice by the gate, which has previously been used as a sign to indicate Muslim clerics on death lists.

“The last time such a thing happened at the home of one Sheikh, he was killed shortly after. So the same is happening, but we shall see,” Muzaata said.

He claimed that there are certain people who want to use the opportunity to stalk their bad interests, using the excuse of Eddy Kenzo.
