Renowned singer Edrisa Musuuza commonly known by his stage name Eddy Kenzo, has attacked controversial cleric Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata for humiliating him in front of his daughter during the ceremony when his former girlfriend Rema Namakula introduced her new catch to her parents.

During the introduction that took place on Wednesday in Kampala Muzaata applauded singer Rema for dumping Kenzo because he was not serious about their relationship.

Muzaata also accused Kenzo of being a play boy.

In response using his social media platforms, Kenzo said it was absurd to hear such comments coming from a Muslim cleric like Muzaata.

He noted that Muzaata should not have pointed fingers at him because his mother died some years back and that has greatly affected his life.

“Thank you Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata for the humiliating message but my mother died 20 years back. That is why you are seeing me in this kind of situation. I wish she was alive, I would have not been in this kind of life you are seeing me.” he wrote.

He blamed Muzaata for humiliating him before his innocent daughter.

"You have attacked and humiliated me in front of my daughter (Amaal Musuuza). I don’t think that was her good day and she will never forget you. Thank you Sheik Muzaata, Allah will be our judge on the final day, God willing," he noted.

Rema and her new catch Dr Hamza Ssebunya are preparing for a mega introduction which is slated for November 14, 2019.

Dr. Ssebunya is a gynaecologist at Mulago National Referral Hospital and is reported to be the same doctor who worked on her during her pregnancy.

Sources indicate that singer Rema has for a long time accused Kenzo of shunning his duties as the head of the family by spending time with other ladies.
