Iganga town locals win big in Pepsi’s Nyongeza promo

Locals in Iganga town in Eastern Uganda were on Saturday rewarded with a number of prizes in the ongoing promotion dubbed Nyongeza aya bass by beverage company, Crown Beverages Limited.

This was during the fun-packed activities on Ngobi road that saw locals participate after being led through the procedure for winning.

Among the prizes won were solar-powered lanterns, radios, phones, T-shirts, caps, and soda.

Naika Faziri, a matooke dealer was the first winner of the day.

‘‘I have just bought 2 sodas at two thousand shillings but I have won myself a radio worth fifty thousand shillings, an excited Faziri said.

Amidst games and entertainment from the playful MC, more and more people gathered to try their luck at the recently unveiled promotion.

Geoffrey Wandera, a Primary school teacher, couldn’t hold back his excitement when he saw a solar-powered lantern under the bottle top.

He immediately jumped onto the stage before he was handed the solar lantern that he straight took home.

The day came to an amazing halt with an outstanding performance from John Blaq who sampled the now ecstatic crowd with his hits like Bulaamu, Makanika among others.

Crown Beverages Limited last month launched a new promotion dubbed Nyongeza aya bass.

Through the new promotion, Crown Beverages Limited will reward its consumers with prizes worth shs1.5 billion between the months of September and December.
