Government investigating People Power links with "hybrid" terror group called Red Movement (VIDEO)

Government is investigating alleged links between a "hybrid terrorism group" called the Red Movement and Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi (aka Bobi Wine) who heads People Power.

Security minister General Elly Tumwine says the the Red Movement is identified by red outfits which they supply world wide and are funded by LGBT with intent to create anarchy world wide.

LGBT is an initialism that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. In use since the 1990s, the term is an adaptation of the initialism LGB, which was used to replace the term gay in reference to the LGBT community beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s.

Nile Post could only identify a Facebook group that calls itself the Red Movement. This Red Movement's avowed goals are to, "The business of LIFE change! The Red Movement is an organization committed to Capital improvement and home build projects to improve the safety and security of families living in impoverish conditions."

The declaration by Tumwine comes days after the Uganda People’s Defense Forces gazetted military attire including the red beret associated with People Power movement.

According to Tumwine, government has been informed of a hybrid terrorism organization dubbed the Red Movement.

Tumwine says the red movement are funded by the LGBT and are hiding under new technology innovations like crypto currency targeting idle, unemployed and vulnerable youth.

The minister goes on to say that security cannot ignore the similarity of colour association between Bobi Wine's People Power Movement and the Red Movement. Investigations to determine their association are therefore underway.

But People Power spokesperson Joel Senyonyi dismisses the government's concerns. He says the government is clutching at straws because of the continued popularity of the People Power Movement with Ugandans.
