People Power spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi has confirmed reports that he is a virgin, saying that he will only sleep with his wife to be, when the time comes.
The former journalist said that even with the many temptations that arise from his position, he made a decision to only reserve himself for the future wife.
Ssenyonyi made these remarks while appearing on NBS Television’s ‘Akatebe’ that airs every Monday during the 7pm bulletin.
“I don’t mean to brag that I am the greatest because of my choice. As a person, I also have various short comings. As a person, you have to make choices and I decided that I will only sleep with my wife. I am yet marry,” he said in part.
Ssenyonyi added that he gets a lot of temptations and he prays to God every day to help him.
“There are a lot of temptations and even more at the moment than it was back then (as a journalist) I used to get all these temptations and I still get them. Every day, I pray to God and ask Him for help,” he said.
Asked on whether he is considering to contest in the coming 2021 general elections, Ssenyonyi said that this requires a lot of considerations and several consultations. He said that when the times comes, he will tell the public about his intentions.
