Kaabong: Four People Power coordinators arrested

The leader of People Power Movement Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has condemned the arrest of his coordinators on Friday who were on their way to Kaabong district.

"Of course we condemn these illegal actions by some security elements against our activities. This prosecution shows how frightened the regime is about the People Power wave and their desperate attempts to stop us from reaching our people," he wrote.

Those arrested iare: Asega Habit, Dem Gaster Opondo ,Maddo Isaac and Mustafa Mwonda.

According to Bobi Wine the four were heading to rally support for their friend and comrade Adyeeka Judith who is running for the woman MP in Kaabong.

He noted all the materials his coordinators were traveling with were confiscated by the security operatives.

Bobi Wine alleged that the four were ordered to make a statement and explain as to why they went to support an opposition candidate.

The four are currently being held at Kaabong Central police station.
