Weasel names his new baby boy after AK47

Musician Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel has named his newly born boy child after his fallen brother, AK47 (Birth name; Emmanuel Mayanja).

Ak47 was the youngest of the Mayanja family. He was a dancehall artiste who rose to fame in 2012 with his song "Champion" but sadly died on March 16, 2015 under mysterious circumstances.

Now while speaking to NBS TV's popular programme; UNCUT, Prossy Musoke Mayanja, the mother of the Mayanja musicians, confirmed that Weasel's wife, had given birth to a boy child on Saturday August 10, and they had named him after the deceased brother.

Musoke said that they named the new born 'Emmanuel Mayanja' because they missed that name ever since Ak47's death.

"The boy was born on Saturday and he was named Emmanuel Mayanja. We gave him that name even before his birth because we had not got any other boy child after Emmanuel's (Ak47) and since Douglas (Weasel) was the first to get us one, we decided to name him Emmanuel," Prossy Musoke said in part.

She said that Weasel now has only four known children and reports that claim that he has many children are false and should be regarded as false.

"We missed the name Emmanuel in our family. Emmanuel Douglas Mayanja will be the name of the new born. Douglas (Weasel) has four children now, he doesn't have those kids that they claim he has," she said.

Weasel reportedly broke up with his now ex lover and baby mama called Samira Tumi. The artiste found his next love in a one Talia Kassim with whom they have two children at the moment having given birth to Thea Mayanja Nabukeera before the recently born Emmanuel Douglas Mayanja.
