President Yoweri Museveni has pledged to take Miss World Vanessa Ponce on a trip around his farm in Rwakitura so that she can see the 'best brand of Ugandan cattle and dairy farming in the region'.

Miss World Vanessa Ponce dear Leon arrived in the country on Tuesday this week ahead of the Miss Uganda grand finale that is due tomorrow, Friday, July 26 where will be the special guest. She is also expected to crown the 2019/2020 Miss Uganda.

Earlier today, she was flanked by Uganda Tourism Board CEO Lilly Ajarova, State minister for Tourism Godfrey Kiwanda, Miss World franchise CEO Julia Morley, Quiin Abenakyo among others to meet the president at his farm in Rwakitura.

The president said that the Miss World came at an unfortunate time when he (Museveni) was on a rush to meet Ankole regional leaders in Mbarara and therefore he couldn't give her so much time as he would.

The president asked Miss World who called on him in a white gown, to come back, in a farming attire and he will take her around his farm to have a look at the best cattle brand of Uganda.

"Unfortunately for her, I was in a hurry to meet the Ankole regional leaders in Mbarara, but we have agreed that she should return, (perhaps in different attire) to see the marvel of the Ankole long-horned cattle," Museveni said in part.

Miss World Ponce later promised to market Uganda with all her might using her social media platforms and position as reigning Miss World.

Vanessa also promised to support Quiin Abenakyo who she called her 'sister' in all her projects even after her current reign.

She will be gracing the Miss Uganda grand finale tomorrow at Sheraton Hotel where she is excepted to crown the next Miss Uganda.
