Bobi Wine tells Acholi: Vote for me in 2021

Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine has said that the people of Acholi sub region have asked him to contest against President Museveni come 202.

Bobi Wine who was in Acholi Sub region to attend the thanksgiving function of Akol Anthony, the legislator Kilak North County who survived an accident a few months ago, reaffirmed his supporters that he is much ready.

Bobi Wine noted that the people of Apaa are still hurt by government decision to "rob" their greatest possession “land”

He stated that people of Acholi Sub Region have asked him to continue with the fight against injustices and all kind of challenges faced by citizens of Uganda.

“Their area leaders and the people ask us to keep on with the fight against injustice," he noted.

He noted that the same people also called upon him to consider standing for president come 2021 general elections.

“They also reiterated their call for me to take on president Museveni in 2021. I am ready to lead them as we take on the task and we ought to unite to make this smooth transition happen,"he noted.

Last year Bobi Wine reassured the nation that he will challenge the longtime President Museveni in 2021.

But he said he is fearful that he could be harmed.
