The national coordinator for Alliance for National Transformation Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu has scoffed at Ugandans who believe that it's impossible to dislodge President Museveni from power.

Muntu noted that most of the people think President Museveni is unbeatable and yet to him he is one of the weakest people in Uganda.

“Most people don’t seem to recognise that Mr Museveni is the weakest person, it beats my understanding the way people look at his strength yet most of us who look at him ,he is the most vulnerable, “he noted.

He noted that it's unfortunate that most Ugandans look at individuals instead of devising strategies that can be used to dislodge the person they don't want.

"The majority of people in this country as I speak now want change but they lament all the time, they don’t act and it’s a basic weakness," he noted.

He said Ugandans should not think that things can just happen by accident but everyone should understand that to liberate the country, it requires conscious deliberate efforts.

“The population is frustrated they believe that this regime is taking them in the wrong direction, for the longest time, none of them believe in Gen. Museveni and there are many forces in the NRM who would want to see a change,"he noted.

He appealed to opposition members to be more focussed on fighting for change other than putting their eyes on president Museveni all the time.

“Look at his vulnerabilities, look at the opportunities around us so that we can exploit those opportunities, organise the force that is necessary and build momentum and we will be able to overwhelm this regime," he said.
