Importing cars is now one of the trending ways of buying cars and under this method, one can buy a car through an importing company like Nikkyo Limited.
According to Badru Ssenkuba, the company’s office manager, unlike other vehicle importers, when a customer makes an order, they pay only 30% of the car value and the rest comes later.
“For others, you have to part with 100% of the money and wait for it unlike here. At Nikkyo Company Limited, we request you to pay only 30% and the rest of the amount comes when the car arrives at Mombasa Port,”Ssenkuba says.
From Japan to Mombasa Port in Kenya, it usually takes six weeks for a car to arrive and according to Ssenkuba, through this period, one can be able to organise the remaining part of the money to pick their vehicle.
“We give you that grace period so you can be able to sort yourself and by the time the vehicle arrives, you are able to pay for it other than demanding for all the money at once.”
He explains that they also carry out an inspection of the entire vehicle to confirm its worthiness free of charge, before importing it for their customer.
Ssenkuba reveals that the company will be re-launching in Uganda for better services throughout the country and region at large.
“On the day of the launch on July 12 at Imperial Royale, lucky customers will be able to buy cars at a discounted price,”Ssenkuba says.
Nikkyo Company Limited is a Japanese car importer that has been in existence since 1995. It has offices all over Africa and East Africa they are in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
