Emirates to increase flights to Entebbe starting today
From today, 5 July 2019 to 15 September 2019, the Emirates airline is set to increase its frequency to Entebbe with three additional flights a week to its existing daily service, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.
According to Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCCA), the introduction of the extra flights is in response to the increase in passenger traffic from Entebbe to Emirates’ global destinations such as Dubai, London, New York, Beijing and Guangzhou.
Before this day, the airline has been operating daily Entebbe - Dubai flights to over 150 destinations via its Dubai hub. The three additional weekly flights will operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, flight EK731 will leave Dubai at 01:15hrs and will arrive in Entebbe at 05:45hrs.
The return flight, EK732, will depart Entebbe at 07:15hrs and will arrive in Dubai at 13:45hrs.

Emirates is currently the only airline operating with a First Class cabin in Uganda.

Emirates operates the B777-300ER aircraft on the Dubai – Entebbe route which is one of the most technologically advanced and efficient aircraft in the world.

Emirates started operations to Entebbe in March 2000, with three flights a week linked with Nairobi, and later with Addis Abba, until it was delinked in 2007 and became a direct daily service between Dubai and Entebbe. Operations have steadily grown with increases in both frequency and capacity between Entebbe and Dubai to match customer demand.
