VAR: Which team does Jose Chameloene play for?

Opinions

Yesterday, the Democratic Party (DP) unveiled their newest signings, a twin striking partnership of Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone and Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso.

The two were allegedly signed as free agents, having been out of contract where they had been plying their trade. The two players were unveiled to fans in a colourful (literally there were many colours) event.

The fans were chanting, DP Yange Emu Bweti, People Power, while twirling to a carefully sorted music selection by one of the signings, Jose Chameleone.

The manager of DP, Norbert Mao said the team is a very big one, with many doors for anyone to enter from anywhere. He called upon other players not happy with their bonuses in their respective teams, to join the DP, instead of sit down strikes ahead of crucial matches.

When he was done, the Chameloene took to the pulpit to say his word. He rubbished claims that he played for the NRM team, arguing that he simply put on their jersey to warm up, since they were paying bonuses even for just sitting on the bench.

He said that he has supported the DP team since his childhood days, and his family members are all fans of the team in green.

He also said that he is not a fan of possession soccer, but he is a fighter who is ready to work with Bobi Wine (who plays for another team).

Chameloene during unveiling, just like the Express FC scenario where they signed a player and unveiled him in a jersey of another team, came to the fans wearing nothing close to the colours of the team unveiling him.

Clad in a black suit, slightly green neck tie and red people power cap, Chameloene was unveiled at a green and white Democratic Party event, where even his own supporters poured into the function wearing red.

Chameloene’s intention to appear at his team’s (DP) unveiling while wearing a jersey of team People Power, and trying hard to claim he has never belonged to team Yellow, is not only confusing but so revealing... ah ah I had forgotten the person’s name.

The VAR team has finally got it, the player’s name is Chameloene, he changes according to which colour touches him.
