12 year old commits suicide in Entebbe

Police in Entebbe is investigating circumstances under which a 12 year old girl ( Naluyima Kotrida) allegedly committed suIcide yesterday evening at Nkumba central in Katabi town council.
According to the locals, the girl and her sister were abandoned and were living in isolation of their stepmother Hellen Makamazibu as the father is away in the islands.
Locals still question the way this young girl committed suicide and say the parents had even sent them out of their main house and were given a ramshackle house which was fit for a dog .
As police lead by Abayita Ababiri OC Station, Gilbert Besigye took the body to Mulago for postmortem.
He asked the locals to remain calm and not turn violent against the deceased's step mother.
