There was drama at Buganda Road in Kampala when a yet to be identified man got his leg stuck in the hole between two road pavers.
The man, a local trader wearing Masai attire was together with a colleague while they went about their business. However, all of a sudden, he was stuck.
He fidgeted for minutes but could not retrieve his leg, with fidgeting came frustration and finally mental break down which prompted him to shout for help.
Within a short time, people had gathered with each one offering advice on how to navigate the leg out of its trap.
The police were called in to help, and a fire brigade stationed on stand by. For hours, the police wriggled at the scene, trying all available means to free the man’s leg from its hold. Alas, there was no result and the man now lay down worried with leg still trapped.
