Kassiano treats supporters to victory party

NALWADDA NSANGI

It was joy and excitement in Arua over the weekend when Wadri Kassiano Ezati, the MP ember Arua Municipality treated his electorate to a victory and thanks giving party at Arua Hill Boma grounds in Arua Hill division.

Wadri swore to represent the people of Arua Municipality with all his might and fight against corruption that is eating away people moral fabric and integrity.

Bishop Charles Collins Andaku while praying for Wadri asked all people with a diverse political ideology to use this to obey, respect and unite and also use this as a platform and opportunity to transform the region

"Let's leave our differences and fight against our common enemy who is laziness, environmental degradation, ignorance," Andaku said.

Wadri together with the other MPs affiliated to the People Power Movement used this time to recount what happened on the 13th August 2018 when they were rounded up and thrown behind coolers.

Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the unofficial leader of People Power used this platform to answer President Museveni who recently asked him to stay in the music industry and leave politics.

Kyagulanyi queried" "What were you [Museveni] doing at my age. Why didn’t you remain as a cattle keeper?"

Kyagulanyi did not have any kind words for the opposition leaders who are always flip flop against their ideologies.

He asked them to be assertive and stand on their word to mean what they say and say what they mean if they are to succeed in the struggle

"They say they are fighting for us but they don’t want us to fight for them. If you rise up to fight, they become your best enemy," he said.
