Sheraton Kampala enrols on global Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

Sheraton Hotel Kampala has today unveiled the Marriott Bonvoy, a new loyalty program which is built on the belief that travel enriches people.

According to Stephanie Linnartz, Global Chief Commercial Officer, Marriott International the Marriott Bonvoy marks an evolution in travel because it represents more than a loyalty program.

She said this travel program is designed to bring to life the firm's extraordinary portfolio of global brands in 129 countries and territories.

“Represented by a simple, bold and modern idea, Marriott Bonvoy is welcoming and optimistic. Our 120 million members have access to the world’s leading hotel portfolio at the best room rates and member benefits, as well our collection of Moments experiences that bring exploration and discovery of the world to the forefront” Linnartz said.

With Marriott Bonvoy, members will have access to Marriott’s portfolio of diverse brands including the largest collection of lifestyle and luxury properties.

Jacqueline Nalubega, the assistant director of Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel said that the guests who enroll for the Bonvoy loyalty program will achieve elite membership status and will be awarded annual points depending on level of status acquired.

"The more members stay and spend, the greater the reward and recognition," said Nalubega.

Elite members can earn points on eligible spend when they staying at participating hotels, dine at one of the hotel restaurants even without a stay and hold meetings, conferences and weddings.
