Mother gives birth to 6 babies, all die
24 year Haula Namakula Katende was on Wednesday left in shock after all her one day old babies died.
On Tuesday, Namakula, a resident of Mpigi, gave birth to six babies including four boys and two girls at Rubaga hospital.
"I was not feeling well and the pregnancy being at 7 months, I decided to go to hospital for antenatal check but on reaching, I gave birth," the 24 year old narrated.
She then gave birth to six babies but were underweight because each of them was below one kilogram.
It is said that because of lack of enough facilities, management at Rubaga hospital recommended that the children be transferred to Kawempe referral hospital for further care but died on the way.
It is also said that the ambulance in which the babies were being driven to Mulago didn't have oxygen cylinders leading to their death.
