SC Villa choke on Nkambi Coffee as they get ejected out of Uganda Cup

The woes for record league champions S Villa seem not to be over after they were ejected out of the 45th edition the Uganda Cup.

Going into the game at the around of 32, the Jogoos had  won the  second most prestigious competition in Ugandan football nine times but this record didn’t matter to regional side Nkambi Coffee who beat them two nil to eject them out of the tournament.

Two second half goals from Ronald Ssempala and Gerald Kimuli were enough for the rookies to get over the experienced Jogoos and eliminate them from the Uganda Cup in a game played at the Masaka Recreational Grounds on Wednesday afternoon.

In another game, Jinja based BUL needed a penalty shootout to see off fellow Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City in the Uganda Cup round of 32.

The game had ended in a one all draw in the normal time before the cooking oil manufactures won 5-4 in penalty shootouts to book a place in the round of 16.

Express FC and KCCA FC on ten times are the most successful teams in the second most prestigious competition in Ugandan football that started way back in 1971.
