FDC gets Alaso replacement, ‘axes’ Mwiru, Wadri

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has officially replaced legislators Paul Mwiru (Jinja East) and Kassiano Ezati Wadri (Arua Municipality) in the new appointments to the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.

Mwiru who has recently been hobnobbing with People Power’s Bobi Wine and closely following Mugisha Muntu of the New Formation, was dropped as Deputy Spokesperson and replaced with Mr. John Kikonyogo.

Kassiano Wadri, who violated party directives and stood as an independent candidate in the Arua Municipality byelections has also been dropped as deputy mobiliser for Northern region and replaced by Fungaroo Hassan Kaps.

Meanwhile Kevinah Taaka Wanaha becomes the new party Deputy President for Eastern Uganda, replacing Alice Alaso who abandoned the party to co found the New Formation together with former President, Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu.

While forming their party, Alaso and Muntu revealed they had left FDC with a number of officials. It was later discovered that Yokas Bihande, the deputy mobiliser for Western region had jumped out with them.

Bihande is the husband to former Leader of Opposition on Parliament (LoP) Wiinie Kiiza. Bihande has recently declared his allegiance to Muntu’s New Formation. He has consequently been replaced by Moses Tugume in FDC’s NEC.

Hon. Fungaroo Hassan Kaps replaces Hon. Kassiano Ezati Wadri as Deputy Mobilizer – Northern

Mr. Tugume Moses replaces Hon. Yokas Bihande as Deputy Moblizer – Western

Hon. Munyagwa Mubarack replaces Mr. Alex Gitta as Deputy Mobilizer – Central

Mr. John Kikonyogo replaces Hon. Paul Mwiru as Deputy Party Spokes Person.

Counsel Isaac Kimmezze Ssemakadde appointed Deputy Legal Secretary (New Appointment)

Dr. Dominic Wakabi replaces Namutamba Zanubia as Deputy Secretary Health

Ms. Namwanga Rukia replaces Mr. Mesearch Nuwabiine as Deputy Secretary Local Government

Mr. Ouma Denis appointed Deputy Sec. PWDs (Position fell Vacant when Substantive Secretary Mr. Noah Muhwana Died)

Mr. Kasozi Robinson appointed Secretary for Veterans, Ex-Service Men and Pensions (New Appointment)

Ms. Betty Nabudde appointed Deputy Secretary for Veterans, Ex-Service Men and Pensions (New Appointment)

Mr. Oneka lit Denis Amere replaces Hon. Stephen Ochola as Deputy Secretary Industry and Trade

Ms. Ssebuffu Harriet replaces Ms. Sandra Katabarwa Ngabo as Deputy Secretary for Culture, Ethics and Religious Affairs.

Mr. Walid Mulindwa Lubega ratified as National Youth Leader having been given powers by the Youth Extra Ordinary Delegates Conference sitting 29th November 2018

Ms. Adyaka Judith appointed as Deputy Secretary for Agriculture (New Appointment).
