Exciting game expected as Vipers SC host KCCA FC

Reigning League Champion Vipers SC will this Saturday host Uganda Cup holders KCCA FC in match day 6 of the Startimes Uganda Premiere League at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende

The game will be live on Sanyuka TV at 4pm.

The hosts will be without skipper Taddeo Lwanga who was red carded in their last game against SC VILLA at Namboole.

KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi while speaking to the press anticipates a good game with goals to be scored

"It’s going to be a good game, I expect goals, the pitch is good, if both sets of players come to play good football, its going to be a good contested game," says KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi.

He also insists he won’t capitalise on Vipers SC performance in their last games and will stick to his team’s style of play.

"KCCA FC doesn't play reactive football, we set the agenda . When we go to the field of play, its KCCA FC playing, we don't worry about the opposition. We stick.to.our style of play since its our identity," added Mike Mutebi."

Javier Martinez the Vipers SC coach asserts he has an excellent team that is going for a win.

"We are not on pressure because we have an excellent team, we are going for 3 points. KCCA FC is a good team, we know everything about them, hopefully they know everything about us but we are well prepared for them," Javier Martinez told the press.

Vipers SC Midfield gem Moses Waiswa expects a tough challenge but his team will play as champions to secure maximum points

"Its going to be a tough game,but we are champions we have to play as champions and get the 3points, we have to be the bet team of the day." says Moses Waisswa.

Vipers SC is top of the league table with 13 points, 2 points above KCCA FC who are second.

Both teams settled for draws in their last games against Kirinya Jinja SS and Mbarara City FC respectively.

Other match day 6 games to played tomorrow include Paidha Black Angels Vs Express FC in Arua. Mbarara City VS SC Villa at Kavumba Recreational grounds, Bull FC Vs Ndejje University at the FUFA technical centre in Njeru, Tooro United Vs Onduparaka at Buhinga Stadium,Fortportal and Bright Stars Vs Kirinya Jinja S.S at Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.
